Red cast from the sunset through the storm clouds. Combined with the lack of usual traffic and the wind the effect is quite eerie.
It’s too dark to photograph but with the power out I can see the light from the lighthouse on the cape over the tree line for the first time since we moved here.
The whole building shakes every time the wind gusts. I’m sure my neighbors on the top floor aren’t having a good time.

Tropical Storm #FalconPH #Khanun as seen by satellite in the Philippine Sea. It has enhanced the southwest monsoon or #habagat, bringing rain over parts of Luzon and Visayas, says state weather bureau PAGASA. It's ikely to strengthen into a #typhoon by Sunday afternoon or evening.
