In the entirety of Khartoum State, a region with a pre-war population of 9 million people, there was only one children’s hospital functioning; that is why we made it a priority to rehabilitate Omdurman Children’s Hospital. After much effort, Omdurman Children’s Hospital is now open 24 hours a day, providing free healthcare to thousands of children who would otherwise have been deprived of this basic human right. We have also made it a priority to rehabilitate hospitals in Khartoum, where 80% of health facilities were either damaged or destroyed. However, this is capital and labour intensive work. If you would like to help us continue this vital effort, please click on the link in the reply. Thank you.
