The LAP Presents: Language Accountability Partners
The Language Accountability Project is a Discord server founded 30 May 2018 in order to tackle the obstacles of target language studies, especially when things get busy. The LAP Server is a community to practice, get feedback, share resources, and stay accountable for the goals you’ve outlined.
As the name and description suggest, accountability is our number one priority! That’s why we’re pleased to announce that we’ve organized Accountability Partners, whom you can be accountable alongside.
The setup goes as follows:
You opt in by reacting to the post in the #general-chat
Next Monday, May 13, partners will be randomly generated. You will be encouraged to reach out to each other on Discord but can move to Tumblr or email if you think they will be more consistent.
Partners change monthly; if you wish to keep your partner and not add more to talk with, just don’t opt-in for the next month.
If your partner does not reply within 4 days, message us and we’ll reassign you or reach out.
Prompts and challenges will be posted in #progress-reports to give you and your partner ideas on how to continue improving.
All guidelines are available in the discord under #rules
If you’re interested in joining in, or even just being a part of the Language Accountability Project, jump on in here!
