I like my 'kheer' to be little thick than what I have cooked here but this is how my husband likes it 💕☺😉 Recipe - Ingredients : 1.5 kg full cream milk, 1 small katori rice (soaked for 1/2 n hour), 75% small katori sugar (according to taste), 75% cup water soaked nuts (cashew, almonds, raisins), 1/2 tsp eliachi powder, 12-15 strands of kesar, 1-2 tbsp roohafza (optional) Method: 1. In hard base vessel boil the milk. 2. Once boiled add rice to the milk and keep stirring in between on slow flame. 3. When the milk seems to reduce a little bit add sugar and keep stirring. 4. Now add eliachi powder to it and the kesar. 5. Then in few minutes add chopped nuts to it. 6. Let the milk reduce on slow flame and stir continuously till you reach the consistency required. 7. Refrigerate it. I additionally added roohafza after it was chilled to give it a nice color and different taste. Garnish with chopped dry fruits and serve chilled. #kheer #sweetdish #kheerlover #indiansweets #indiandish #sweettooth #sweetcravings #craving #homemade #cookwithak #cookedmyself #cookinglove #cooking #cook #recipepost #easyrecipe #recipebyak #recipe #cookingram #recipegram #foodporn #ak #akfoodography #ankrish #tiddfull_talks #thechutneychor #cookandtell #jaipurfoodblogger #roohafza #cookpadindia (at Jaipur, Rajasthan) https://www.instagram.com/p/B1tDkcdl7bu/?igshid=1mk7slma7atrs
