Recent doodles of Khirrakis and Thala'Vorax, I forgot how terrifying these two are and I've always drawn them being joyous and happy, but never really drawn them with negative emotions.
I love making my poor favorite space bugs suffer with self awareness and guilt
Random doodle while doodling He gets the spray of punishment for eating food that's not his.
Semi-realistic Khirrakis busts, and Khirrakis asking to feed a small pint of blood nicely.
Pretzel is getting a little too comfortable being around Osman, He's had the courage to make the "local scary looking tall guy" cry from being caressed.
Khirrakis Character Bio and Profile:
Stats;
Intelligence: 19 (fast learner)
Dexterity: 18 (very speedy for something so large and bulky)
Constitution: 18 (Thanks to their anatomy of having 3 hearts)
Strength: 17 (Does not do well when outnumbered or cornered)
Charisma: 15 (Not the best but manages to pass by anyone unsuspecting or oblivious of them)
Fake Name: Wily Osman
True Name: Khirrakis, Exiled runt of Khirr of the Gene-Stealer Hive
Sex: Unknown (literal alien biology)
Pref: Bisexual, Pan (only after staying around humans and learning about gender)
Pronouns: He/They (never knew about pronouns until being introduced to it by being around humans)
Age: Estimated to be in their early 30s in human disguise (Xicimitari age is unknown)
Race/Species: Xicimitari
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral, Later leaning towards Neutral Good
Likes: Human trinkets to tinker and curiously play with, being accepted for who they truly are and not be seen as just a "defect" or a "monster to kill", making friends, learning about human life and their cultures, human food (after tasting a delicious dessert given to them by Agent Pretzel), warm places, being understood and sympathized with, Pretzel (their friendship is starting to turn into a relationship), Sewer children, Large Lad, Mochi (they are trying to get along)
Dislikes (also Hates): being ostracized, their sister, their species, the Primogenitor for lying to them, being discovered and either killed or being dissected by the agency, fire, stronger and larger people, seeing the weak and defenseless being harmed or wronged, harming others without a reason (to harm or kill others without reason is to be just like the other brutal and cruel Xicimitari), drinking blood and hurting or killing their host (they later find a much safer and cruelty-free way to drink blood to maintain their disguise), being watched by someone suspicious of them, being followed, themselves (they're going through a lot rn)
Physical Appearance:
At first glance, Wily Osman appears to be an unusually tall and bulky human, standing at a towering height of 7'1". Their skin is a stark white, almost translucent in certain lights, with a faint blue tint that hints at their alien heritage. His eyes, stark white and seemingly devoid of pupils, give him an eerie presence that makes people uncomfortable. He often dresses in suits or other shrouded clothing to conceal his slightly unsettling disguise, wearing long-sleeved shirts or coats to try and appear more human. When he speaks, his voice is soft and measured, belying the brutal strength that lies beneath his disguise. In his true form as a Xicimitari Mimic/Infiltrator, Khirrakis stands at an imposing 8'9", with a dark blue carapace that shimmers like a moonlit sea, with multiple limbs and a very massive set of wings, nine terrifying eyes and around their neck is a very soft fluff of setae that shrouds his terrifying maw and mandibles. His human disguise is meticulously maintained, with only the occasional odd twitch or strange movement giving away the fact that he is not what he seems. His face, while human-like, holds an almost expressionless countenance, which is often mistaken for coldness, but those who dare to look closer can see the deep-seated sadness, longing to be loved and acceptance and conflicting confusion in their eyes.
Alien Background:
Khirrakis was the runt of a late Progenitor brood of 42, 40 of which were eaten by their sister Kturan, he is the only survivor of the clutch. Scorned and discriminated by their fellow hive-mates for his weakness and small stature. Khirrakis, is a whisper of his past, a name that holds the weight of their Progenitor's (parent) failure and the lies he's been fed. His kind, the Xicimitari, are feared across the galaxy for their brutal colonization tactics and assimilation of other advanced civilizations. They are a hive mind, a collective of cold, vicious and unfeeling creatures that view other races as tools or genetic material for their own hive to be used or discarded as simply food to their larvae. But Khirrakis is different. He harbors a gentle soul, a stark contrast to the coldness of his kin. After constant prolonged survival and refusal of being "recycled" to the nest or to his sister, the Primogenitor devised a plan to rid of this unwanted living liability to the hive, ordering Khirrakis's attention and feeding him lies of becoming his own Primogenitor "Hive-lord" of another world under his control, they are to prove themselves worthy to conquer a world where their Progenitor, Khirr has failed to do, His "missions" are to undermine the dominant species defenses, infest/assimilate the population and their technology until none is left but only his hive and to proves themselves worthy to be accepted as an idol that broke fate and became something impossible (which was a ruse that made Khirrakis desperate to agree and be treated better but in reality it was a lure to shelve him far away from the hive never to be remembered or thought of again as a disgusting weed to be killed in silence by the FBI, this would later be their mistake)
He would be exiled to earth, Crash-landing in a meteor-like pod near the outskirts of a city, however their very volatile arrival upon earth through a meteor would be noticed by the FBI. intrigued by a meteor that happens to be very near the city during a shower, ripe for retrieval and investigations of what could be inside, however Khirrakis would break free from their pod and scurry off into the unknown (not without having pictures taken by the numerous surveillance cameras that only caught glimpses and blurs of a "Humanoid Insect Alien", further fueling the agency to search for them.
Human Disguise Background:
After prolonged hiding and staying out of watch, Khirrakis decided to create a human form, a mask to blend in with humans and study them. Donning a pseudonym of a non-existent person, Wily Osman, a strange tall and bulky human amidst a new environment, he has learned to navigate the complexities of human society, observing from the shadows and mimicking their behaviors, speech, accents and physical appearances. His curiosity for these fragile beings has grown into a soft spot for their innocence and resilience. He finds himself drawn to their capacity for love and connection, things he longs for in his own lonely existence. Yet, they are haunted by their false mission and the fear of being discovered. He has created several hidden nests throughout the city to stay on the move and avoid detection from the FBI, they will vacate a nest and cover up any leads (sadly leaving behind trinkets in the rush) to the others should the Agents find one of them. These nests serve a purpose where he can retreat to rest and regenerate during the day, tinker with FBI technology and stay hidden from the prying eyes of the Agency, his photosensitive skin and eyes requiring the cover of darkness. One fateful evening, Osman's solitary life takes an unexpected turn when he attempts to infiltrate his enemy, returning to where their pod crashed, crossing paths with a patrol of Agents in their investigation of a "possible fake meteor". Initially in the disguise of another agent, they followed the squad into the HQ after hauling away the strange alien biotech mass of strange flesh and alien appendages, somehow seemingly blending in very well that he managed to slip by the security (Probably because of a lazy door guard). Upon entering the HQ, Agent Pretzel would take notice of a new face and immediately befriend Osman, confusing and surprising them but also distracting them from their attempt at undermining and sabotaging the FBI from within, Introducing Osman to an odd fellow who seems to accept him and see them as a friend rather than an exiled monster to dispose of. Osman's ability to read people serves him well in this friendship, allowing him to understand Pretzel's motivations, emotions and fears. As they slowly bond over their friendship and constant closeness, Osman must balance his loyalty and newfound feelings to their unexpected friend along with his questionable duty to a hive that disowned and removed them from the collective hivemind. Yet, the more they learn about humans, the more he questions the very essence of their existence and the purpose of his mission. His emotional and mental growth becomes a silent rebellion against the tyranny of the Primogenitor and his favored Sister by defecting and rewriting their genetic programming against their original "mission".
Personality:
Wily is a creature of contradictions. On the surface, he is quiet and unassuming, often mistaken for a man of few words with a stoic demeanor. Yet beneath his alien shell, he is a whirlwind of curiosity and emotion. His interactions with humans have taught him the value of compassion and empathy, traits that are rare among his species. He is fiercely protective of the defenseless and those who show him kindness, often going to great lengths to ensure their safety. His moral compass, shaped by his experiences on Earth, is at odds with the cold, calculated directives of his hive. He has come to despise the very nature of the Xicimitari and the destruction they bring.
Osman's gentle touch belies his true power, and he only fights when provoked or forced to, preferring instead to blend in and avoid confrontation or outright retreat, refusing to ever take a life if absolutely necessary. His human disguise allows him to study human behavior up close, and he has become adept at understanding the subtleties of human emotions. Despite his fear of being discovered, he craves companionship and connection, leading to a series of awkward interactions that often leave humans feeling unsettled. His alien nature makes it difficult for him to fully express his feelings, resulting in a stilted social presence that only a few can look past to see the soul yearning within. However the Sewer children has become a staple of acceptance for when their disguise truly falters and reveals the horrifying and ugly thing that he is, they find comfort and a genuine warming home with the Sewer kids and Large lad, who do not see a monster but a lost and confused soul betrayed and exiled by his own kind for being "defective" and "not worth the genetic propagation" Khirrakis will visit or hang out with them, often times buying them ice cream or snacks or learning things to adapt to modern human society.
The struggle within Osman is palpable as they grapple with his identity and purpose. His journey from an outcast infiltrator to a being seeking genuine connection is fraught with danger and discovery. His awkward emotionless stare is slowly replaced by a gaze filled with understanding and a silent promise to protect those he has come to care for because of the unexpected friendship with Pretzel. Osman no longer acts to undermine humanity's defense against extraterrestrial threats, but rather seeks to help them, no longer trying to sabotage the agency database, but now leaving breadcrumbs to help strengthen their weapons and technology, even infusing Xicimitari Biotech into FBI weaponry through a strange biological assimilation, conjoining metal with bio-organic parts. All while hiding their alien identity, biding their time for the right moment to leak invaluable information and weaknesses of their species to the FBI and thwart a possible future invasion of his species, hoping for a chance to be redeemed and live alongside Humanity in peace, albeit he would have to adapt and change himself to fit this lifestyle.
Family doodle of the odd space bugs
Unnamed Progenitor: Named "Khirr" by the Primogenitor; Deceased, killed by the FBI after attempting to invade the planet through an infestation takeover, their lair was found and scorched clean off the face of the earth leaving behind 42 back-up heirs in case their nest on earth was destroyed, 40 of which were killed and eaten by the dominant and favored Kturan (She's an asshole with an ego and thinks with brutality, she's also the one to traumatize Khirrakis into being fearful of those larger and stronger then him).
Kturan: Firstborn, Favored brute of the Xicimitari Primogenitor hive, her brute strength and size makes her a danger but she isn't smart. She thinks that any and all small/weak life forms are inferior and should be made into food for the hive rather than hosts for new generations. She believes in taking the strongest opponent's genes for new generations. She was lucky enough to not get picked and sent to earth to clean up Khirr's failure due to her serving a great purpose to the hive. (Corrupted favoritism I'd say)
Khirrakis: The ugly runt, Hated, despised and seen as weak and useless to the hive was sent to earth more as a death sentence to rid of Khirr's weakest link, the Primogenitor fed them lies that they must avenge their progenitor and prove themselves worthy to become their own Primogenitor (Basically a Hive Lord), because of Xicimitari having the cruel beliefs that the strongest and useful are the top and the weak and small are simply food for the hive, Khirrakis was exiled from the hive (He does not know it was a lie and that They just wanted to get rid of him because he kept surviving longer and also because he's considered unwanted/useless to serve a purpose to the hive until later). But at this point Khirrakis is thriving better on Earth than where they came from. 100% Kturan would be fuming that her youngest sibling is still alive and doing better than her.
Just realized that I can canonically make Khirrakis extremely violent against their own species, not just because he's scared of them but he hates the thought that the world he was exiled to is actually a lot more nicer and beneficial than whatever polluted chaos he breathes in. I could theoretically make Khirrakis the Thorax of AHI but instead of hesitating and being cowardly, they decide "you know what? I hate being bullied and hunted all my life, I'm gonna make these assholes know how I felt" and starts cannibalizing any Xicimitari that decides to FIND OUT while fucking around
