They've dedicated a new monument to soldiers who fought in Afghanistan at Khmelnitsky on 22 May 2007.

It is located at the crossroads of streets Grushevskogo and Teatralnaya. People call it "The Pawn".

It carries inscription *Помиляються правителі - страждає народ / Ошибаются правители - страдает народ* = the rulers make mistakes - the ones who are suffering are people.

What is the difference between hope and expectation?⁣ ⁣ Hope: is something we create internally and through our desires we project out into to the world – hope depends only on us: our dreams, our goals, and our thoughts. We hope for an outcome, we hope for things to happen, and we hope to feel a certain way when “it” happens. Hope is always something positive.⁣ ⁣ Expectation: Expectation is a much more active mindset when compared to hope for it depends on both us and the surrounding which is much more practical. Continuing the last post topic. What's the difference between hope and faith? Similarly in terms of hope, it is a positive emotion. We expect a positive outcome. If I were part of Blondin 's audience , at the beginning of every stunt, I will hope that he performs the stunt successfully. I will hope that there is no mishap due to any unknown weather condition. Hope is all about expectations about a positive result. Faith is a complete confidence in something. To form such a high level of confidence, Faith may not require a proof. We may have faith in God or our religion. There is a classic tale of a village suffering from drought and famine. Every one put their faith in prayer and decided to pray to god for rain. The example of faith was a small boy who came to the prayer with an umbrella. He had total faith that his prayers would be answered and he would need the umbrella for the rains that would come as a result of their prayers.
