So you know how Grrm once said that the villain is just the hero of the other side, like lol this animated YouTube video series depicting the same events from Roman & Persian sides on their 11 part series on Justinian & Theodora:

And then their 5 part series on Khosrau

Does a better job of showing it than GoT and asoiaf combined. Like seriously, it's so damn entertaining, way more fun to watch, and instead of making heroes and villains of either, it shows them as rulers with great visions for their empires and a lot in common but antagonists in each other's stories.

Its got a peasant and prostitute rising to become rulers, epic levels of trolling, and a guy who tortured the rich until they paid taxes. Seriously, watch it! You can thank me later.
