So I was toying in my head with a potential RWBY AU for VLD, in which Keith, Pidge, Lance, and Hunk are a team at Beacon (Garrison?). Not sure of a team name, but Keith is probably the leader. (Might go with KHPL (Chapel) and make Keith a white-haired faunus to explain the color.)

However, as tempting as it is to have Sam, Matt, and Shiro be huntsmen who went missing and have Pidge go after them, this might not work as well as it does in the canon. Huntsmen go missing all the time. It could easily be explained away by Grimm.

So instead, it's Colleen who suddenly went missing. A civilian who had connections to Garrison. With her dad's and brother's help, she manages to sneak into the school. However, she's been noticing some odd changes lately. Nature seems to be something she's connected to. That can't be correct, though, because her semblance has always been about technology.

What she doesn't know is that she was her mother's last thought.

(Meanwhile, the Ozluminati (Iveluminati?) is panicking while trying to find the Spring Maiden and ignoring the "boy" beneath their noses.)
