This was it. The inevitable social torture Kyoya was trying to avoid since months, the incovenience of his entire life, the angle of furniture against his toe, the puddle under his sock… Here he was, the clumsiest man on earth, in front of him, hand-kissing you graciously a stupid smile on his stupid face.

Dino used to send a message to him each times he came to Japan to see Tsuna, message Hibari used to delete right away, sighing because he knew the parasit would stop by to have a boring chit-chat by the end of the day, but not this time, and Hibari knew exactly why.

It has been months since you barged into his life, and he was struck by those feelings he tried, helplessly, to push out of the way with your entire person. Your smile, your soothing presence, your punchy spirit, and after tilting at windmills, he finally cracked open a breach to let you in.

Hibari is a pretty secret person when it comes to his private life, so even if the other gardians understood something was up, they all respected his secret garden and gave him the times he needeed to introduce you to every aspect of his life… that was totally not Dino’s case.  As soon as he got a glimpse of the scarf you offered him, of your smell on his sofa and of your forgotten jacket at his place? It was the end of Hibari precious privacy.

Ecstatic like a teenage girl, he asked and investigated more like a nosy mom to discover what, who, Hibari was hiding and he promised himself that if the cloud guardian didn’t want to talk about you or introduce you, then he’ll find a way to force him into this...situation.

And so.. that was when Dino decided to knock to Hibari’s door while you were both sitting comfortably on the couch for a movie night. And by the look on Kyoya’s face while he was kissing your knuckles, he knew he won.

He apologized for the interruption, like the gentleman he is and by the way you acted, it didn’t take him long to realize how sweet and kind hearthly you were, what a fantastic contrast.  And what a nice situation he would be able to exploit, he knew too well you would insist for him to stay when he will propose to leave to not disturb you, saying that he was just so happy to see his «pupil» after 14 hours of  flight.

Hibari was boiling, his eyes burning deep holes into Dino’s head, there were good reasons for him if he wanted to keep you away from all the things going around in his life, the Vongola, the mafia life and.. the Cavallone Boss, the thought didn’t got the chance to fully ring into his head that the first desaster of a long list happened right in front of him.

While you were smiling politely next to the blond as he took off his coat, he slapped you with one of his sleeve, turning around abruptely to apologize profusely, it was Kyoya's turn to be slapped by the other one as he made a step toward you to see if everything was okay.

Then came the glass of water spilled on the table, the tripping against the imaginary carpet that sent Dino fly at your feet and the listing of not-so-funny anecdotes about your pouting boyfriend that didn’t let out a single words from the night.

The frown still deep between his brow, Hibari clicked his tongue his eyes darting anywhere but on Dino’s huge smirk as he was telling you an embarrassing story about him. Your laugh filled the room and a shiver ran throught Kyoya’s back, gosh, he loved that sound so much, your hand cupped his under the table and your bright smile warmed his chest, at that moment, there were no embarrassment, no trouble, no Dino, just him and all the reasons that made him love you.

It wasn’t that bad after all..

- Why didn’t he never mentioned this? That he got a crush, no, that he was in love, with a girl you see every weeks, a girl with whom you have become a good friend moreover – If it wasn’t that innocent, why did he hide it from you?

- A little after, you bid your farewell and Tsuna proposed to took you back home, the return trip was in pure silence, painful silence for him in fact, he turned this in his head the whole time, asking himself how he could bring up the topic, but before he could figure it out, he was already in front of your home. A tender good night kiss to the woman he loves and he forgot about the incident.

- You tried, you really tried to push the thought away but it was like a constant boomrang roaming your mind every time your eyes landed on her now, you felt the taste of this bitter reminder stuck in your throat.

- And all of the questions going with it, these smiles toward her, did it mean something special? If she had said yes back then would he still be with her, no, if she came to back to him one day, would he.. leave you?

- It was..destroying you.

- Even if you gave your best to look good, Tsuna felt right away that something was off, because, there was this thing between the two of you, that witchcrafty-bond which turns your belly upside down each time the other one is feeling bad

- He wanted to hear what was wrong from your mouth, he wanted to give you space, but he couldn’t bring himself to do it, and he pushed until you told him the source of your anxiety.

- After the words came out, it seemed so stupid, a real non-sens and a single glance into those big hazelnut eyes was enough to made you feel that way. And that smile.. oh that smile.

- The concern look in this eyes was telling you otherwise, because for Tsuna, nothing should make you feel that bad, he told you that you should have to come to him, to talk to him no matter the subject and, for this problem in particular, he would have explain everything to you way sooner, avoiding useless stress and pain.

- First of all, he would reassure you about the fact that he feels like the luckiest man in the world for winning the most perfect girlfriend and that you better should know this and stop doubting yourself and being afraid by others, you are what he always hoped, and even more, as a partner.

- Then, he would apologize, profusely, sure, he had that passage in life where he was, slightly obsessed with Kyoko, he would tell you about his No-Good-Tsuna period, where no girls ever looked his way nor talked to him and his hormones were.. on fire? She’s pretty, she’s a good person, so it was natural to develop feelings for her at this moment, but it was in no way comparable with true love feelings

- There were no reason for him to talk about it, because it was just.. over? It’s not something he himself think about again, nor out of the blue, nor when he sees the very good friend that Kyoko became after all those years. She was family for him and the rest of the Vongola and he even forget that he, one day, felt that way toward her.

- And thinking about it right now? Ugh, it gives him the creeps, it would be like..going out with a cousine or something?

- Mostly, he would do his best to make you laugh, because each time he hears that sound, it’s just a reminder at how much he’s happy and fulfilled in his life with you by his side.

Can i have a scenario where Takeshi's s/o is a civilian and one day she accidentally discovers that he s actually part of the mafia and she decides to leave everything she has (work, appartment etc) to follow him and work for the Vongola? Takeshi is against it at first but Tsuna thinks she could be useful so he accepts. Sorry if my request is a bit specific ahah i hope you ll be inspired though ^^

Yamamoto Takeshi

The information was hard to sank in, you just learnt about Takeshi’s secret activities and you didn’t really know how to react, you needed some space to digest everything, and the Rain guardian accepted with a broken heart and a sorrowful smile to leave you alone in your flat in an attempt to understand the full meaning of a Mafia life. He insisted on the fact that you could call him anytime if you wanted additional informations or if you just.. anything?

His hands were glued to his pocket all day, flipping his screen, rebooting his phone several times to be sure there were no bugs, but you just didn’t call, no texts, no tags on silly things on social media and god, he was missing you.

The whole thing seemed like a real treason now that he was facing what he put you throught and he felt like it was already folded in, he would never see you again, and he was the only responsible of what was happening, maybe people in that crazy mafia world didn’t deserve to be happy..

Yamamoto always felt bad everytime he had to leave for missions, or talk with codes everytime one of the Vongola called him while you were together, that guilt was consuming him because, after years of  relationship, he felt like he was the only one hiding things to the most important person in his life. You were so carefree and confident by his side, he wanted to keep you safe, to keep that part of innocence in you that was so refreshing. Each time he was with you, there were no stress, no complicated situations to deal with, no danger, life seemed just so simple like a big breath of fresh air.

On the other hand, he wanted to share his daily life, whether with exciting news or less extactic ones, everytime he returned with bad memories, each times he failed or lost, but it would have been too much to put that pressure on your shoulders, you never asked for that, you didn’t do anything to be dragged into it.

You trusted him. And he was, certain it would devast you if, one day, you learnt about his lies, you were smart enough to understood why he acted like this, it was obviously to protect you, or maybe not, was it just a selfish need to keep you out of this, to keep a safe place where his mind could be at peace?

He didn’t get much sleep that night, nor the previous ones, nor the ones that followed, dark hues adorning honey eyes as he undeed his tie and dejectedly threw it on his desk, a pretty long sigh escaped his lips as his head fell on exhausted hands.

It’s been two weeks since he left your flat with a bomb, you were probably hating him for wasting your time, and the thought of the state you were probably in made his throat clench, he couldn’t focus on anything because you were the only topic in his head.

He checked his phone once more, the fifteenth times in the last hour and as he was about to send it fly on the sofa on the other side of the room a knock on the door echoed against the walls, he invited the guest in, and welcomed Tsuna with a tired smile. When you entered the room after him, he jumped out of his chair, knocking it down in the process, was it real, or did his head was playing some trick to him?

He didn’t know how to react and almost forgot to greet you, he patted his messy hair, a smile of hope back on his lips and waited for an explanation.

So here you were, sitting in front of him, it was hard to control yourself and stay focused when you had a feverish Yamamoto soaked with the light of a setting sun, but you were there for a reason, and determined above all.

A desperate need for encouragement and you looked toward Tsuna, the first thing you did was apologize, for taking so long to come back to him but you needed to understand. What exactly was the unknown world of the Mafia, what it means, what it generates, what it costs. 

You needed to understand what happened in your lover’s head to keep you away from the most important side of his life, Mafia was part of him, as much as his dreams and deceptions, he shouldn’t be afraid to entrust you with something so huge and draining.

And most of all, you needed to understand and accept all of the bad feelings which appeared at this moment, incomprehension, bitterness, sadness, guilt, betrayal and a bit of vexation too.

Your belly flipped so violently with worry as the memory of him leaving not just for ‘work’ but for missions that could have imply bad guys and dangerous stuff, as this spark of gloom when he came back to your arms sometimes, and you wished you could have done something about it. 

You didn’t need to be sugarcoated and protected, you were a grown person, able to hear that the world isn’t glitters and care bears, able to make your own choice, and you wished he had let you this one.

But something you were absolutely certain was your place in his heart and life, you never doubted about his dediction and the deep love he had for you, nor the one you had for him and no matter the difficulties you may encounter by changing you entire lifestyle, by entering the ‘other side’, it would be with him, and it’s the only thing that count.

The silence fell in the room after your announcement, and it was the first time since you began your speech that you heard Takeshi’s voice, it was just two words, and it disconcerted you.

«No way.

- It’s not a decision I would let you take for me this time, I already made up my mind.»

Your voice was firm although trembling and before he could object a second time, half arguments already gushing in his head, it was Tsuna who spoke. Calm, reassuring and convincing words left his mouth, he argued about how you could be an asset for the family, how it would be way easier to keep an eye on you and protect you within all of the guardians. He promised to keep you safe, to take care of you, to take full responsibility of this and to never put you in danger.

At the end of the conversation, well, monologue, Takeshi was at loss of words, he couldn’t push away the fears creeping up inside, but it didn’t seem like a too bad idea anymore.

He asked his Boss and dearest friend to leave the two of you and as soon as the door clicked, his arms were around your form and his head on top of yours, rocking you slowly, right now, he just needed to hold you and feel that it was real, he promised himself to never hide anything from you or never let you go again.

It has been two days since Mukuro came back from God knows where from a mission of his own after two weeks away. Two days and not a single touch, barely a kiss and a sweet word, even if you understood that the man needeed some time, space and sleep it was starting to get a bit frustrating.

Desperate times call for desperate mesures, you put on your tighest dress, the cherry lips balm that plumps your mouth perfectly then checked yourself with a sigh before leaving, he will not resist, for sure. And, here you went, with a determined step, all the courage you could gather under your arm to meet your ungrateful lover.

He was sitting on the middle of a burgundy sofa, arms sprawled on the backrest a tired smile on his lips, Tsuna sitting in front of him pieces of papers extended on the low table.

He watched you entered the room, a brow arched ever so slightly, he didn’t aknowledged you, not a single word your way, so you decided to bypass him, taking the time to bend in front of his face as you greeted the unwanted guest, italian style of course, with two noisy kisses on the cheeks.

The bastard kept a satisfying smile on his porcelain face, but still no attention directed toward you, you didn’t notice but at that exact moment, flame of revenge started to consume his devilish eyes.
