Scars/Birthmarks: His most prominent scar is the one running across the bridge of his nose. Aside from the strikingly apparent scar, his back and arms bear the marks of similarly lost battles and poor judgement. Although the talented mage, Aerith, has the ability to lessen their appearances, Leon prefers to keep them as reminders of his progress in battle.
Abilities/Powers: Leon’s fighting style is centered around excessive brute force. His hits can be devastating, but they often take a lot out of him, leaving him to regain his strength before he has time to attack again. While his efforts to study as a mage were less than fruitful, he managed to pick up a base enchantment for his gunblade that allowed it to grow and grant him more range - though the spell lasts only for short amounts of time. He is also capable of casting fire-based spells, but uses them sparsely.
Restrictions: Physically, his more muscular build and heavy weapon make him slower on the battlefield. Additionally, he is a specialist at close combat, and his ranged attacks are easy to evade. He also knows no white magic, and is under threat of not being able to heal himself consistently. It is for these reasons that he is the fighting partner of Yuffie, whose speed, ranged attacks, and limited healing abilities serve him well. In return, he protects her and deals the heavy damage. They work well together in battle, covering each other’s weaknesses.

Favourite Book Genre: He enjoys reading, specifically in books that can help him increase his skill in fighting or building. He indulges occasionally in romance books, no matter how sappy they might be, and avoids action-based novels. He sees enough fighting in his own life to dislike that genre.
