hi! quick question: how/when will artists know if they successfully claimed a fic or know if the fic they wanted to claim is taken?

Hi there!! 

And in all honesty? Probably not until Monday or Tuesday. I’m going to let the askbox fill up before I even start thinking about sorting through it. There is matching to do, a list to make, we gotta see if any of the artists have dropped or not, if any fics were left over. I haven’t bothered to read anything yet, but I can tell just at a glance that some fics were snapped up the first five minutes. T__T If it gets to be too much (always) I’ll be humbly requesting help. Sorry I can’t give you guys a more concrete date. Everyone will hopefully be squared away by the 20th, though!!
