Something I did for a contest on the r/kidicarus subreddit/discord. We made outfits for Amazon Pandora, which is right up my alley I love fashion design! :DDD

My outfit for her doubles as her look during Kid Icarus Revolution. Tho the story's centered around the Yutu Formation (my moon faction), the underworld has a chapter dedicated to it too. Post uprising, they've been at each other's throats for the now vacant spot of ruler👊💥💥 And with her flair for design, Pandora's now serving in a new gown fit for a potential ruler👑

I finally finished the refs for my main 3 kid icarus OCs yippee

The last one is Bélalune🐇💥💥 She's been the goddess of the moon since KIU's Aurum Arc (by the time KI:R rolls around, she would've been reigning for like 15 years. been a hot minute but not that long compared to every other god).

I will yap and yammer under this, beware🧍‍♀️💥💥💥

Being a moon god entails having a shit load of responsibilities that don't even involve being a deity. So when Bélalune ascended to a god, she also became the ruler of Yutu, the space kingdom her family's been running, plus the guardian of the constellations.

During Kid Icarus Revolution, Béla's the main antagonist for a majority of the story. She sends her army, the Formation, on a search operation for several artifacts from the Divine War (I mention more about it in her cousin's ref. But it was p much a giant war that got a ton of gods killed/MIA). Yutu is also guilty of harvesting parts of the earth to expand their kingdom. Both of these things largely affect ecosystems and human cities, so it ends up on Palutena and Viridi's radar (+her cousins who recently had a falling out w her bc of all this). As a result they'd have to work together to prevent her from getting these artifacts, and get through her army so they can confront her head on👊💥👊💥👊💥

Got inspo from an Easter decoration for the dress, just wanted to doodle the dress while redesigning how she looked in (the equivalent of) her mid/late teens. but I got carried away and made a lil comic with it🤸‍♀️

Post ki:r and after Béla's defeat, she got overthrown and imprisoned by Yutu's revolutionaries(deserved tbh🐇💥). During her time there she also slowly lost all her wealth (either from it being taken by the new rulers or her trading/selling them for basic necessities) and signed off on her titles. So by the time she was released from prison, she had to restart her life from the bottom as a basic soldier of Yutu's army (with a few jobs on the side). Because of that she had to get real thrifty, so most of her clothes are cheap and upcycled/handsewn by her, and she's been saving money on groceries thanks to her connection to Dark Pit and the Forces of Nature🤸‍♀️✨

Also the short hair is a lot more low maintenance, but she wouldn't have cut her hair if it hadn't been for the prison admins requiring it before her planned execution(she lived ofc, but she's wearing long sleeves for the foreseeable future).
