With Pit and Dark Pit, the designs were inspired by military so they could still fight. Palutena doesn’t need to so I wanted to make her design as impractical as her regular one lol. She’s got her old skirt on underneath but I gave her a new jacket. It’s got fluffy stuff on the bottom to look like snow!I tried to put the pattern from her dress on the bottom of the coat too. I didn’t know how to incorporate her jewelry so I decided to put patterns around her sleeves that have the shapes of her jewelry normally around her waist. I also wanted to use some old Palutena outfits. Her belt is from her myths and monsters dress! And her crown is the same shape as the one from the NES, I also gave her a fur hat to match with the fluffiness at the end of her coat. I gave the upper part of the coat a little cape like thing, I wanted to keep the coat with no shoulders like her original dress but wanted more fabric so this was a good way to do that. Yippee :)

Got inspo from an Easter decoration for the dress, just wanted to doodle the dress while redesigning how she looked in (the equivalent of) her mid/late teens. but I got carried away and made a lil comic with it🤸‍♀️

Post ki:r and after Béla's defeat, she got overthrown and imprisoned by Yutu's revolutionaries(deserved tbh🐇💥). During her time there she also slowly lost all her wealth (either from it being taken by the new rulers or her trading/selling them for basic necessities) and signed off on her titles. So by the time she was released from prison, she had to restart her life from the bottom as a basic soldier of Yutu's army (with a few jobs on the side). Because of that she had to get real thrifty, so most of her clothes are cheap and upcycled/handsewn by her, and she's been saving money on groceries thanks to her connection to Dark Pit and the Forces of Nature🤸‍♀️✨

Also the short hair is a lot more low maintenance, but she wouldn't have cut her hair if it hadn't been for the prison admins requiring it before her planned execution(she lived ofc, but she's wearing long sleeves for the foreseeable future).

I forgot to post the little bios I made for my LvD comic + an extra doodle with Meissa and Farah! They first met here :3c I'll probably make more bios as I show more characters🤸‍♀️💥

I hc that Light vs Dark matches use some sorta magic/tech to cloak wings, tails, etc. as well as buffing/debuffing fighters to even the playing field (and save money on uniform alterations for fighters💀). It's kinda rooted in the actual game where fighters that become Pit or Dark Pit also get a bunch of stat buffs as well :0c that's why Farah doesn't have her usual wings and tail and Meissa's ears are smaller.

I really dig how it came out, I was able to experiment a lil and I got to draw an OC I've been wanting to draw for a while yippee✨

Yayyy finally, I really wanted to show this drawing 🤭🤭💛💛, I drew Belalune in a summer outfit I saw on Pinterest, I changed the colors a bit and added new details and I really like it I love the color combination I used; this drawing really helped me get out of an art block I had.

Yippee I'm finally working on that comic!🤸‍♀️💥 (God I hope the app doesn't fumble the page order after I post) I'm still trying to get the hang of formatting the panels, and whether I want to keep it traditional or move it to digital for later pages

This is one of many things Bélalune was getting into while she had 0 responsibilities: joining a Light vs Dark team! and roping her anxious bodyguard into it😭 Meissa doesn't do much besides train and study, with minimal resting time because of the family pressure she deals with at home, so this is all new to her too :0c this would've been taking place not long after KI1, so the games wouldn't have branded the angels the fighters become as Pit and Dark Pit yet.
