Do I even have to say anything about this song? It's a masterpiece. Period. And I think we all know that. I mean... that bridge.

Also, Taylor saying that we changed how she feels about this song still makes me incredibly happy.

And I also love playing it SO MUCH. I'm such a sucker for powerful ballads like this. It's pretty hard to sing for me and I definitely know that my voice doesn't really do it justice but I love it so much! ❤️

Debut: "Mary's Song (Oh My My My)"

We're officially ONE WEEK away from Lover!!

Back before rep came out and I didn't even have this account yet I did a countdown over on my instagram cover account (@/daydream.music) by posting a cover of a song from each album the last few days before the release. And now I decided to do the same thing for Lover's release ❤️

So to start things off here's a cover of "Mary's Song (Oh My My My)", a highly underrated song in my opinion!! I really love the way a lot of Taylor's songs, especially the older ones, tell a story and this one is definitely no exception there 💕

There were five holes in the fence and we are only five days away from Lover! Today it's my favourite album's (tied with Fearless though) turn in my Lover countdown so here's another super underrated song! It's just so cute and beautiful and I love it so much. And don't even get me started on the music video!

WE ARE GETTING LOVER IN LESS THAN 24 HOURS AND I AM ABSOLUTELY NOT CALM!!

The Archer is definitely my favourites out if the songs from Lover Taylor has released so far. It's hard for me to find words to explain how much this song means to me and how deeply it has moved me so I'll just use the same ones I did in a Tumblr post right after it came out:

It's crazy to me how we all relate to it on so many different levels. This is the magic of music. And this is the magic of Taylor finding exactly the right words for feelings everyone else seems to be unable to describe. She never fails to amaze me. Neither does her songwriting. Fearless: "White Horse"

This is forever one of my favourite Taylor songs. It's so painful but in a beautiful way, I know you guys understand what I mean. It's just so well written.

And can we please talk about the line "I'm gonna find someone someday who might actually treat me well" for a minute? It seems like she's really found that someone. I mean... just listen to "Lover". That's what I call a glow up.
