It’s not as though Natsumi wanted to spend her lunch with someone else. Almost everyone around her was...flat. A sea of WORTHLESS nobodies, with no particular talents or skills, no outstanding personality-- just faces whose names she could not be bothered to remember. Almost everyone. Perhaps, just perhaps, the younger Kuzuryu had been willing...to give this one a chance to entertain her. If she found his behavior ACCEPTABLE, she might even consider him worth something other than an utter LOSER. No promises, of course.
❛ HEY, Hajime. ❜ No honorifics, first name instead of last, ❛ I happen to be in a good mood today, so make room on your desk. I need space for MY FOOD. ❜

[greet] your muse greets my muse.
“ Ah, if it isn’t Hinata-senpai! ” Truth be told, it was only by mere coincidence Kensuke happened to STUMBLE upon his ‘upperclassman’ on his way over to Kishimai Highschool, but now that he had spied a familiar face from the Go Home Club, black laced shoes would soon hasten forth until he manages to settle into a leisurely stroll beside the taller boy. “ You certainly are up early today. Did you have trouble sleeping as well? ”
still accepting.
---- “ What is with you people? I get worried over an alien baby and you all go straight for the throat?! Sheesh! Where’s the ‘oh, thanks for looking out for people, Ben 10′? Y’know? Some of that? I don’t get paid enough for this... ”
---- @kiboumukou liked! 👮
---- “ What’s wrong with carrying a taser? It’s no different than carrying pepper spray in a purse. ” Speech pretty deadpan, she just... genuinely doesn’t get what the problem here is. As if it makes her point any stronger, she points to the badge on her chest. The... mall security badge. Wasn’t exactly as impressive as a police badge.
“ I’m perfectly within my rights. Watch the tongue, boy. ”

❝ I WASN’T staring at those moth balls, and I DEFINITELY WASN’T contemplating about eating them. ❞
Maybe if she shouted louder, she would be able to convince him otherwise. Besides, carrots were more her style...most assuredly.
another story awaits @kiboumukou ;;
“ Ehhhh... Haji-kins, is that you?! ” Her eyes were quick to widen once they managed to capture a lone glimpse of Hinata. Truth be told, his was a face that brought back nostalgic memories and was one she hadn’t seen in a long while, yet it only took her a few seconds before it suddenly dawned on her she must have looked different to him now, causing an awkward grimace to seep through her features. Ah, right... the Vivian he knew had dark hair and glasses, didn’t she? Furthermore, who could say this truly was the Hinata she knew? Well, rather than STAND there, looking like a deer caught in headlights, she’ll proceed to lift a fist to her lips before clearing her throat.
“ Er, just to be clear... you are Hinata Hajime, right? ” Vivian finally asks, disrupting the silence between them. “ I don’t have to worry about you being an impostor or an impasta, do I? S-Sorry, that’s probably a terrible joke; anyways, um... do you mind telling me why you’re here? I mean, last I recalled, you were still at Hope’s Peak Academy, weren’t you? ” Of course, now that she started talking, she couldn’t quite stop, for it was ages since she had seen someone she personally knew; then again, it doesn’t yet OCCUR to Vivian Hinata might not have all his memories intact.
@kiboumukou / a thing we sorta talked about ♡
“You didn’t tell us you’d be visiting today.”
A simple statement, laced with her own gentle amusement. The ghost of a smile tugs at her lips, a light in her eyes — carefully schooled from the initial surprise upon seeing him ( lasting no longer than a moment, missed by those who didn’t know the detective well enough to look ).
There’s a warmth in her chest akin to seeing an old friend, unbefitting of a foundation division branch leader face to face with a former remnant of despair. She knows her supervisors ( hell, any foundation member that wasn’t also a survivor of the 78th class ) wouldn’t approve, but she doesn’t care. The 78th class may be the poster children for hope, but they’ve never been good at following the foundation’s rules.
Surely it hasn’t been that long since they last saw each other, but with Hajime’s visits being so sporadic and unpredictable, Kyouko finds herself thankful whenever they do come.
“Have you seen anyone else yet?”
