Action figures of Captain Action, Action Boy, their pet panther, Khem, and their diabolical nemesis Dr. Evil (no, not THAT guy) in his disguise as friendly Dr. Thorpe.

The Captain Action and Dr. Evil/Thorpe figures appear to be originals (but I am no expert on this), while Action Boy looks like an original figure wearing a re-issue of his costume from Praying Mantis. Apparently, when the Captain Action line was revived Action Boy became Kid Action, hence the "KA" emblem on his chest.

Kid Action-”The Long Walk Home”

After destroying a satellite that could irradiate the Earth and kill it faster, Kid Action is left in the middle of nowhere with their suit busted up and with no way to contact help. This means one thing: It’s time to start walking.

Team Action does their Secret Santa gift exchange.

Zack: Surprise! I was your secret Santa!

Max: Your Jewish. You don't celebrate Christmas.

Zack: Its the THOUGHT. Now here.

He hands Max a present. They roll their eyes and unwrap it

Max: Whatever. This is still a dumb holid-

They then see it's a photo in a picture frame...of them, Emily and their parents on Christmas.

Zack: I asked Em if she had any old pics of you and your folks. I know that no matter what you celebrate....families important. And you lost yours a long time ago. Merry Christmas Max.

Max: ...

Emily: Max? You okay?

Max: ...This...is acceptable. I guess.

Emily: Aw, (To Zach) That means they love it.

Zach: I figured. (To Max) You're welcome.

I can't help but imagine Max saying this to Bruce:

Max: So, you hate ALMONDS but you'll eat candy bars filled with COCONUT?

Max; I don't know. Even I kind of feel like your life before us sounded like shit. Especially since you clam up so much about it...

Like, every time someone asks something about your past, you always give a thousand mile long stare and eventually respond with a short answer. Sometimes barely a sentence.

And while it definitely seems like something you should go to therapy for...a hug is at least free for now.

I admit, I can't help but imagine a scene like this with Annie mentioning she can't eat pizza because she's vegan.

Max: You know they make vegan cheese pizzas right? Like, just get a weird cashew cheese pizza or whatever.

Max: I mean, it probably tastes like ass, but yeah.

I could absolutely see Annie being that kid who did that thing at places with soda dispensers like Chuck-E-Cheese where they get a cup and mixed multiple sodas together in one cup.

Is that kind of thing allowed? Because I wouldn't do that if it's not okay...

Everyone does it. I think the people who run the place even expect kids to do that.

It's easier to digest when knowing everything is fake. And it's not torture porn. It's a thrilling soap opera of people trying to prove their good with some great special effects that try not to rely on CGI.
