NEW MUSIC:
Poppy unveiled a new single “Khaos x4,” which comes off of the upcoming deluxe edition of her album I Disagree. The album, titled I Disagree (More), will be released on August 14.
On Friday, Billie Eilish released a brand new single, “My Future,” along with an animated music video. Previously, the singer became the first artist in VMAs history to get two Video of the Year nominations as a teenager.
In a recent interview, De’Wayne revealed that he recently partnered up with Waterparks for a new song. The artist also shared that the band’s vocalist Awsten Knight raps on the new collab.
Mike Shinoda revealed that the second volume of his Dropped Frames project is coming this week. On a recent Twitch stream, he rearranged the folders on his desktop to spell out phrases revealing its release.
Dying in Designer released a new track titled “Lovely.” The song marks the first new music from the artist since the release of his debut full-length Nobody's Happy last year.
Kid Dad released another song titled “What You Call a Dream” from their upcoming debut album, In a Box. The album is set for release on August 21 via Long Branch Records.
As It Is released a reworked version of their song “Soap,” originally off of their sophomore album Okay. The initial version of the track was first played as part of Fearless Records’ “Fearless at Home” stream back in May.
Knuckle Puck released a fourth track titled “What Took You So Long?” from their upcoming record 20/20. It follows their other most recent single “Breathe,” which features Mayday Parade's Derek Sanders.
Blink-182’s Travis Barker released a new collaboration with Run the Jewels titled “Forever.” The track comes soon after the release of the rap duo's fourth album, RTJ4.
After the release of their latest album last week, Creeper released a music video for their single “Poisoned Heart.” The band are set to tour the UK with support from Holding Absence, Wargasm and Static Dress next year.
TOUR ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Four Chord Music Festival has been postponed to July 17, 2021 at Wild Things Park in suburban Pittsburgh. Blink-182 and the Used will still headline the event, with State Champs, Four Year Strong, Mayday Parade and the Ataris also playing.
After being postponed, Greenfield Festival has announced its first wave of bands for next year's lineup. Volbeat, Billy Talent, Rise Against, Bring Me the Horizon, the Offspring, Mayday Parade and many others are scheduled to perform.
Also after being postponed, Download Festival announced the first wave of bands for next year’s festival. Headlining the event, which will take place on June 4-6, 2021, will be KISS, Biffy Clyro and System of a Down.
After postponing their upcoming UK and European shows, Neck Deep have now revealed they will be touring next spring. The band also confirmed that nothing,nowhere. and Higher Power will be supporting the dates.
OTHER NEWS:
After nine months since Yellowcard filed a copyright lawsuit against Juice WRLD, the lawsuit has now been dropped. The complaint claimed that the late rapper plagiarized parts of their song “Holly Wood Died” on his track “Lucid Dreams.”
Nearly 13 years after the original collection, Vans announced that a new collection based on The Simpsons is on the way. The shoe brand took to social media earlier this week to share the news with fans.
Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor earned his first Emmy nomination, alongside Atticus Ross, for the music in HBO‘s limited series Watchmen. The pair previously won the Academy Award for Best Original Score for The Social Network in 2010.
Last week, Funko launched pre-orders for the Nightmare Before Christmas Funko advent calendar. The calendar will include 24 Pop! mini-figures of the movie’s most beloved characters.
Boston Manor announced the details of “Poetry & Soil,” a virtual art exhibition based on their latest album Glue. The band is also providing a short documentary on the record’s creation.
Neck Deep’s album, All Distortions Are Intentional, placed at No. 4 on the official UK Albums Chart. This marks the band’s third time in the top 10, with Life's Not Out to Get You peaking at No. 8 and The Peace and the Panic also peaking at No. 4.
After nearly two months, A Day to Remember's Josh Woodard released a statement following online allegations of sexual misconduct. The bassist stated that he will continue to deal with the issues privately.
