My sister and I implemented the “mommy point” system when we started having kids. Notable feats of motherhood accrue points that can later be exchanged for new, cute shoes.
This is not for run of the mill activities like making dinner. Examples of mommy point earners:
- cleaning up puke in the back seat of the car
- the diaper blow-out that gets in their hair
- etc.
Soooo my question is - if my kid put their finger through a vegetable mandolin, is this positive mommy points because I cleaned up the notable amount of blood without fainting/losing my shit, or negative points for letting them help with that tool in the first place?
