James and I made a coloring book just for fun. When James added the future-ninja-blender-family photos this went from being my least- to my most-favorite page.
Fairy ribbon wand DIY – this was fun & easy! (Pinterest version on the left: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/260012578456652391/, mine on the right) A couple days ago we went on a hike, and Tennessee collected treasures in her “wildlife bag,” as she called it. Among said treasures were these two sticks, which we decided made the perfect base for our very own fairy wands! Next we headed to the front yard to scavenge for the perfect stones. Ours were more rustic and gem-like, so we decided a paint job was in order. Choose whatever ribbons you want, and using wire (all I had was picture hanging wire – I guess our fairies are DIYers, too), fix the stone & ribbon to the top of your stick. Our wire isn’t as vibrant in color, but it works the same as copper or jewelry wire. Of course, all fairies need fairy dust, so the tips of our wands are sparkled with glitter. Tennessee added some to her stone, as well. And that’s it – time to go spread some happy, fairy magic!
