“I was told to ask about the rainbow bears.”

Harry and Liam tighten their focus on Louis. Niall’s still listening to the question. (Got their attention)

“What is the rainbow bear?”

(Harry’s telltale twitch at the corner of his mouth)

Niall whips around in panic and looks at Louis. OT3 are all watching Louis, whose expression we can’t see. But presumably he makes no effort to answer...

... because Harry starts to answer. Now if this doesn’t tell you that they ALL know about the bears, but Harry and Louis are the main ones involved.

Harry looks to Liam, the 1D spokesperson. H starts his Harry-slow-talking to stall for time.

“A bunch of Directioners were online and said, hey ask the guys about the rainbow bears.”

Harry: I— (help me, Liam)

Liam stares straight ahead. I got nothing, man. RBB is on you two. I’m Jim Halpert.

Harry: I believe the bear was thrown onstage at one of our shows.

Bless his media training, Harry swerves the question and answers with actual facts that do not imply their involvement. Sometimes the silence is louder.
