We are excited to announce that our self-titled album, The Grey Area would be released on the 25th of June. We are also delighted to share this kick-ass retro album cover shot by Agbawo Nesta and designed by Matt Lyon.
We’ve started recording in 2016 and the project as gone through many different phases and we’re excited to be able to share this 7-track masterpiece. It covers a wide musical range from Indie Pop to Choral African music with influences drawn from Afrobeats, EDM to even the fuji music of King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal. It was Executive Produced by Osinachi Nwaneri and A&R by Marc Wallowy.
We are also glad to be partnering with Tokyo Dawn Records who have shown a lot of love since our release of Sunday Morning last year; we hope to continue that relationship and hope the love will spread to other gifted African musicians.
