For my birthday, @tgarnsl prompted me "Alan/Davie, Fake Relationship". Imagine some sort of backstory where Alan pretends to be Davie's wife in order to evade the descriptions on their wanted posters.

It was difficult not to smile at Alan in stays and skirts, he was so pleased with both. He twirled and swayed, and smiled coyly at me.

"Aye, but you make a bonny woman," I agreed, before he could ask. His vanity was as keen in skirts as breeches, and I had no wish to dim his pleasure.

"I told you I'd make you a better wife than mother," he preened, and I admitted it was so.

"And as your wife I can do this before anyone I please." And taking my face in his hands, he kissed me breathless.
