Kidnapped By Mad Scientists: 008 - Breathless Awakening

Tessa is now awake and back in the real world and hey, there's a shiny new lung just for her! Meanwhile, Char's been a bit distraught since Tessa's earlier death, chubbier, less fur, forgetting his meds.

I made the speech bubbles have a red tinge in them in panel 1 and 2 to clarify it's Char speaking. I wasn't originally going to mention his anti-psychotics in this series but because I've made Alcifer have a more prominent role than I originally intended I felt it needed to be mentioned for later as I'll be going into some brain chemistry stuff with dopamine. (No Alcifer is not a hallucination but if you've read my model sheets on toy house the giveaway is kind of there already of what Alcifer does to people.)

Kidnapped by Mad Scientists: 007 - Party Preparations

I wanted to do one more comic with Alcifer in his little domain, just so you know what he's cooking up in the background before we return to Tessa's adventures. As you can tell Alcifer doesn't really like the other demons.

008 will return to Tessa and Char.

Kidnapped By Mad Scientists: 006 - Enjoy The Ride

Tessa's snapped at being pushed around, but she's not strong enough to take on Alcifer's demonic powers. Not yet anyway! She's been pulling my other character's tails since 2014! Now she's being sent back to Volcano Lair Land and the real adventure is about to begin.

Also if you're an ancient history buff, the Phrygia 404BC tattoo on panel 3 with the arrow through it was Alcibiades assassination place and date. He died from arrows and fire. Anyone who dies in my universe gets a tattoo similar - date, place and something related to it.

Kidnapped By Mad Scientists: 005 - Honeymoon Deal

Tessa's agreed but she needs to actually read what she's signing...though Alcifer's doing everything he can in a casual manner to make sure she can't see the full document.

Here's Tessa's stylish new clothes and hair! Alcifer's offering a deal to revive Tessa and give her another chance at life if she ditches Char...but that seems too easy doesn't it? Alcifer is based off of Alcibiades if he ever charmed his way to the top of hell/underworld so there will be some references to his history. He's a bit of a cruel, calculated and emotional genius. So trying to showcase all that here.

This is my last comic series I'm doing with the old cast of Corroxious. At the moment there's approximately 100+ comics in this (I'm still editing as I go so the number may change), each designed to be read as standalones but if you read them in order it makes a loose story. An absurd, dark, horror romance story. Sticking to 4 panels only as a storytelling challenge.

Time to bend rules and sentient pencils! Some of these comics, the gags will be more visual than dialogue jokes if it's a plot based one. Panel 4 was a challenge to draw and while there are still perspective/anatomy mistakes there I'm happy with how it turned out. 2018 was the last time I had Alcifer in a comic, so this series will have the leech (and of course worms!) loving cockatrice devil himself and his team in the spotlight! Prepare for a lot of upcoming flamboyance!

Tessa's full redesign will be shown in the next comic, there's a glimpse of her top half in Alcifer's eye panel 2.
