Whump: "Hold on for just a little longer"
Kidnapped Whumpee who has been heavily tortured by their captors and Caretaker rescues them but Whumpee is bleeding out from their injuries and mistreatment.
They're in bad shape from being helped captive in terrible conditions (little food, dehydration, constant torture, sleep deprivation, etc.) for days.
Caretaker lifts them into their arms and is rushing them to safety, to a MedEvac chopper or car or something but Whumpee is barely conscious though they know it's Caretaker, mumbling their name barely about a whisper.
Whumpee is delirious and groans in pain with every jostle at they're being carried and Caretaker is swearing under their breath and apologizing while trying to move Whumpee as little as possible.
Whumpee is going in and out of consciousness and their head is rolling back against Caretaker's chest. Their breathing is labored and they keep whining in pain because everything hurts. Caretaker is repeating over and over again:
"Stay with me"
"You're going to be okay."
"This is nothing for someone like you, you'll be as good as new soon, I promise."
"Hold on for me"
"C'mon, keep your eyes open"
"Talk to me"
"You're going to make it out of here"
They finally reach the car or helicopter or whatever transport out of there and Caretaker sets them down (in any situation) to check on Whumpee.
Whumpee is near unconscious and their injuries are still bleeding sluggishly, their skin is covered in flakes of dried blood never washed off. Their skin is a mess of bruises and cuts and their lips are cracked and bloody. Caretaker cradles Whumpee's face in their hands and is trying to get them to "Stay awake."
Whumpee is incoherent and mumbling nonsense and they're burning up. Caretaker is begging them "to talk to them" and "to hold on." They pick Whumpee back up and Caretaker is rushing in whatever way to get them to medical help.
Whumpee is going limp in their arms and their eyes are like weights drifting shut. Caretaker is just begging to Whumpee, to themselves, to anything or anyone that:
"Not yet, not them"
"You're going to make it"
"We have to stay together, remember?"
"You can't leave me alone, how am I supposed to live in a world where you aren't?"
"I won't let you die here"
"Hold on, just a little while longer."
"Please."
