It's fun to paint and creative to paint on rocks with this activity. The kids will enjoy making their own popsicle sticks and then using them to hold their painted rocks.
Ingredients: Popsicle sticks. Assorted non-toxic paint colors. Paintbrushes. Water cups for rinsing brushes.
Instructions: Lay the popsicle sticks out flat on a surface to get them ready. Put small amounts of paints of different colors into their own containers. Put the paintbrushes into the different colors of paint and start painting designs on the popsicle sticks. Let the painted popsicle sticks dry all the way through. Once they are dry, use glue or hot glue to attach small rocks to the painted sticks and use them for rock painting.
