NYC: This summer @WomenofColorHealingRetreats & @Studio301NYC are proud to present the first Free Kids of Color Yoga & Arts Summer Program in Brooklyn, New York City! 🗽🌞👧🏾👦🏾 Both of our organizations believe that art and yoga can provide children with the tools to strengthen and heal their spirits while preparing them to take on the world. Both Yoga & Art are meditative, allow creativity, promote wellness and inner peace for people of all ages. In fact, Free Kids of Color Yoga & Arts program was created out of the desire to provide a place for pure creativity, joy, and love to kids in the New York City area. As gentrification steadily climbs, and access to wellness spaces are not as accessible for kids of color, we believe it is important to have a sacred space dedicated to children living in underserved areas throughout New York City. This is a space for children of color no matter their racial background to bloom. From Filipino, to Black, to Latina, we have a space for everyone! Our yoga and arts program is led by instructors of various ethnic and racial backgrounds because we believe it is important for children of color to learn from a diverse group because representation matters.
