It's just that the whole bootstraps myth is such a toxic load of crap; the sooner they learn that financial success and effort have very little correlation, the better.

Ryan: I would be like Superman, but not afraid of kryptonite. With everyone’s powers. And my arch-nemesis would be Joker and Lex Luthor.

Niki: I would be…. man. I’m bad at picking names. I would have the power to have any skill I read about. 

Alex: You mean like skydiving?

Niki: Yeah. My arch-nemesis would be illiteracy! But what would my name be?

Ryan: No idea.

Alex: I got it! Copy Cat!

Niki: Oooooh!!

Ryan: What’s a “copy cat”?

Niki: Someone who copies things.

Ryan: Oh… like copycat crime in a book.

Alex: I’d be Red Lightning! My power would be to do anything that lightning could do! I’m talking lightning bolts, teleporting through the clouds, going through electric wires, unable to be hit, and can go through buildings. Traveling through electricity! 

Niki: Who would your arch-nemesis be?

Alex: Uh. Evloc Lightning. There’s hundreds of Lightnings out there, and this one’s very evil.

What are the most important features to consider when buying a house?

Alex: Make sure it’s beautiful, big, and really complicated. 

Me: Why complicated?

Alex: I don’t know. Nevermind. Make sure it has a backyard bigger than a hotel.

Ryan: Um. You need to have it protected from zombies, protected from anyone, and like a hotel, having a backyard bigger than a hotel, but with other things you like, and with your furniture choosing. 

Me: How much should it cost?

Alex: I’d cost $20,000 or $30,000.

Ryan: 1,999999999 hard to find gems.
