I think that KI should have more courses for administrative staff and also better development plans and preferrably also a career path for administrative staff.

KI should use a science based method to evalute how well student learn from the courses that we give. Right now teaching appears to have very little priority and it is sad that a KI does not have the best courses in Sweden.

Treating people with respect and as professionals, not as cheap labour.
Fight harassment/mobbing by acting against the source, not by hiding and allowing it to continue.
Provide opportunities for real career development.
Focus next investments in building accomodation for researchers, students.
Remove differences in salaries/stipends for same category due to academic background, like the higher amounts for PhDs students with medical background than others background more specialized in research like biologists, chemists, biochemist...etc

How would you improve Karolinska Institutet? Hur skulle du förbättra Karolinska Institutet?
I think KI (Campus) and KS together with SciLifeLab should built a joint modern facility for cellular correlative light- and electron microscopy (EM) instead of having many EM groups with outdated old equipment at different locations. Such unit should be run by groups having top expertise in the field and supported by Departments working with cell biology. This will add the missing infrastructure for cell biology research.
