How does amputation work in the RisingClan universe? Like, the cats don’t have knives or anything. I wanna know for my own story—that’s why.
Well, they're kitty cats and they dont have tools so I imagine they'd do it civil war style and give you a shit ton of pain meds before chewing the limb off at the closest joint. Not fun for anyone involved.
I recently had a thought: Goldie (in a recent piece, the one where Scorch talks with Yarrow) says the word “shit.” I thought only the City Cats knew human cuss words? Has Goldie picked some up from Scorch?
Indeed she has! Well noticed. Its true that the Clans don't use human cusses (except damn) but hangout with your girlfriend enough and you'll pick up some of her vocal habits, I speak from experience.
Just poppin’ on to say that OMG Slate’s cheek fur. It’s gorgeous! She takes after her mama, maybe young Smoky had the curly cheek floof?
Maybe! I imagine its a combination of Smoky's long hair genes and Ghost's thicker fur texture, I imagine Smoky had a wispier fur. The main reason its so thick though is that I wanted it to be heart shaped, cause Slateheart haha

Not very far, I'm on 11-11. I'm in the awkward place of really enjoying the story but not being very engaged by the gameplay so I never really feel like i have time to waste on levels where I just sit there and let my phone play the game for me.
I think my favorite cookie is Raspberry Cookie, but I haven't seen her in the story much, I just like her vibe. I also really like Caramel Choux Cookie.
I hope you don’t mind my saying this but as an undiagnosed (but very very sure) Autistic person, I very much read Slatepaw as autistic. I relate to her very heavily, she is my comfort character as she reminds me so much of myself in some ways. I just love Slatepaw. I hope my rambling doesn’t bother you as I think I keep saying the same thing just worded differently.
Your rambling doesn't upset me at all! I love when people gesture vaguely at my art, it tells me they really enjoyed it. If you're worried about clogging my asks, try heading over to the clangenrising community tab! That's a great place to just gush with other fans or share headcanons. I'm there too and I'll comment if I can say anything without spoilers.
And I've heard that before, Slatepaw reads as autistic to a bunch of people and although it wasn't my original intention, I do think it fits and have started writing her that way.
I think the pencil sketch idea is great! But perhaps you should make the sketch brush itself colored (blue for Odd, yellow for Yarrow, etc) so it won’t get confusing!
I meant sketches on actual paper with an actual pencil haha so I don't think I can so that, but I would do my best to make it clear who was who and the tags on the post would still tell you who was featured
