Since you're changing things for your pregame personality AU does that mean there are going to be different survivors?
Since I left the fandom I will also tell what I changed in general !
(Consider it one of my final Pregame Personality AU post, I say “one” because my askbox is still open)
So yeah they were actually different survivors with the changes I made.
Survivors : Kaede Akamatsu, Rantarou Amami, Kaito Momota (coughing blood but very much alive) and Tenko Chabashira !
The new mastermind : There are three ! Idabashi (Kiibo’s Creator), Tsumugi Shirogane and Shuichi Saihara.
Basically, the three of them were best friends and knew each other through the DR fandom. None of them knew what they each looked like.
Tsumugi was a famous cosplayer in the fandom. She is also a big shipper in general. She had a pretty normal and boring life. She was the one who made the costumes for DR.
Shuichi was an orphan adopted by his uncle who is always travelling, if we don’t count Tsumugi and Iidabashi he didn’t had any friends. He basically spend his whole life alone without any human interaction that could be taken as being love. He defined himself by the fact that he belonged in the DR fandom and consider that outside of DR he would be better of dead. He is a famous writer within the fandom for his complex murders. He participated in a Fanronpa video game once as a writer.
Iidabashi was an ill prodigy child. He couldn’t move his body at all since he was born. His parents basiaclly abandonned him in an hospital where a doctor notices his intelligence. He helps him creating a robot to transfer his conscience into. Iidabashi suceeds but in his monotonous daily life at the hospital he concluded that the only way for him to feel anything for someone as smart as him was to feel despair. He is the real mastermind and put his two best friends into a DR game to kill them himself.
You can say that Iidabashi was the real reincarnation of Junko Enoshima. He truly did love his two best friends, and that’s why he wanted to kill them that much.
He lived into Kiibo’s subcounscious until the final trial when he deletes Kiibo’s data saying that he can do whatever he wants to his own child. He ends up dying with Shuichi in the trial room as they both found what they wanted to live for.
Kaede had two choices in the final trial :
Kill Shuichi, and let Danganronpa continue on.
Kill Iidabashi and let the Monokuma army created by the DR team destroy the world and let it fall into despair but end Danganronpa.
Kaede had chosen both, saying that she doesn’t care anymore about the world and that if they wanted her to choose one thing, she might as well choose everything.
By the way, I said that there were 4 survivors.But actually, if Shuichi, Maki and Himiko survived to school’s destruction, they didn’t.
So yeah. Basically my au is : literally everyone dies at the end. Thank you.
