Twins Jukka and Juha Hotakainen have fun on a kiik, or swing, one of the few high-energy activities available inside the protected confines of a village. I like to think that Estonia's gift to the sporting world, competitive kiiking, thrives in post-Rash Scandinavia.

Another one of those days where I have only a few minutes, but fit in a scribble. No pretense that it's anything more.

You have never heard the legend of the White Lady that appears once a year. She is the kind of cupid who helps the lovers to connect.

Fun fact: the small Estonian population continues to decline, immigrating to Western Europe, while the increase is happening at the expense of visiting Russians.

If you decide to go in for sports in Estonia, like Douglas, it is better to read the rules first. Our wanderer did not even know how to spell the word "Kiiking" correctly. The advice applies to any new sport since this particular one is riding on special swinging "sun" swings that can be found in parks and playgrounds.

Regarding the local government. In Tallinn (the capital of Estonia) they decided to experiment and made all public transport free of charge in order to attract people to move to the capital.

I'm sure you've been wondering why I've been so quiet. (Or at least, you are now.) Well, here's a good chunk of why: I got down to business with Unity, and made my first game.  Or rather, made a demo.  Right now, it's just a series of menus, along with a single level to demonstrate the game.  Future versions of the game will have further, more challenging levels, a functioning Restart button, and almost certainly the ability to create custom levels as well.
