When you looked at Frankie Naka.mura she looked like your typical white girl, at least if you didn’t count her tattoos. Genetically that’s what she was, mostly white, her biological father was the type of mutt you’d find in the southside of Chicago, her mother was a little different but still, it resulted in the mostly white gene. But how she grew up? Well she hit the diversity jackpot, and she loved it wouldn’t trade it for the world. But with the diversity jackpot meant the diversity family that she would have introduce to her boyfriend. Pete knew of her father and knew what he was and how he was so that part was easy, but it was her mother’s family that made for a difficult explanation. They had all gathered in Seattle for some kind of family reunion that happened to fall on Easter. Out of two Uncles and one Aunt, two were well, celebrating Easter, actually, they all did because the chocolate was universal and so was getting together with family to eat.
They had a little time to kill before they had to all gather at the house of her grandfather who was hosting this gathering so they decided to hit up some of public Easter party for younger kids. There was thing Frankie loved more then wrestling and it was her little sister, who was sitting contently in the backseat. “Ok, so don’t eat any of the candy before we check it a’right Kaz?” Frankie spoke English this time, simply because she knew Kazumi wanted to get better at it and she didn’t want to leave Pete out of the mix. Pete who she’d sneak a small squeeze of his hand to as they pulled up to the park.
She was nervous about introducing him to her maternal side of the family mostly because you needed a flow chart to follow it and because she’d never brought a boy home. Her father could knee someone’s face in, but she was worried about her old Grandfather and Great-Auntie.
