It’s a battlefield full of monsters and those who’d stand against them. Altogether far far too familiar for Ozpin’s taste as he fights to keep a clear route to safe zone. All he can think about is the Grimm, how a few of these creatures look eerily similar to them, how they overran vale and beacon, and how perhaps, he should’ve been fighting like this then instead of now.
His semblance, unfortunately, seems to be more and more inconsistent throughout the endless assault of monsters. His shields have dissipated more than once out of nowhere, which makes him lean towards his time manipulation than anything else. Bursts of speed with a flurry of blows and impossibly quick parries and appearances from one side of a foe to another is all he trusts himself to be able to pull off, but even these become dicey when tangling with a larger foe.
Case and point, he exits the flow of time too early to dodge a blow completely and it’s only through the quick actions of a new fighter arriving on the scene that he makes it unscathed. After the monster is defeated and there’s a brief respite from the onslaught, Oz turns to express his gratitude.
“Ah, thank you for earlier. That would’ve been... unfortunate had you not stepped in Mr.?”
