If you were walking through Soho recently, you may have seen a group of drag artists draped in England’s colours of red and white... 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 That’s because a group of the UK’s leading POC performers teamed up to reclaim the toxic narratives in the news recently surrounding migration, which many on the far right have weaponised against minority communities. We attended their photoshoot - which took place to support LGBTQ+ charity @rainbowmigration - and spoke with some of the drag artists about why they found getting involved so empowering. Keep an eye on our channels for more content from the shoot this week. If you want to make a difference today, then like these performers you can support Rainbow Migration, which helps LGBTQ+ people seeking safety in the UK.
