i have a question about your autumn leaves mod.. does the game also treat it as being autumn year-round or is it purely visual? i had once tried out a cherry blossoms year-round thing but it also made it so that the flowers on certain shrubs wouldn’t ever bloom since the game was treating them as out of season, which kinda bummed me out. i also don’t remember if there was any other complications with regards to seasonal events and such, but i ended up taking it out either way because of the shrubs thing. im only just curious tho, i think it’d be cool if there was a way to make it so that it could just be a visual mod without changing too much about the actual time of year (‘: and your other mods seem so cute as well, im def adding a few of them to my game!!

i'm not sure if you're asking about my already published mod about the autumn trees or my upcoming falling autumn leaves mod so i'll just clear up both of them to avoid confusion lol
my already published mod for year round red autumn leaves on trees only patches the textures of the trees, so the grass and bushes will still function to their own unique season, for example hibiscus bushes will still bloom in summer but your trees will be a bright autumn red
as you can see in roselia it's july currently and i have my autumn trees mod installed so the grass isn't autumn coloured
this is the same for my year round cherry blossoms tree mod too and is the reason why i'm able to have hibiscus bushes blooming in summer!

now for the falling leaves mod that isn't released yet, i've got two different versions for that mod:
just falling leaves
falling leaves alongside autumn grass
option 1 will only feature the leaves falling, so the grass won't be affected - this will look rly weird outside of fall if you don't have the year round red autumn leaves on trees mod installed
here's a screenshot of option 1 with my year round autumn trees mod installed
option 2 will be different, it will have the falling autumn leaves BUT your grass will be autumn coloured too meaning that all your shrubs will be locked to autumn year round
and here is option 2, where the grass is autumn alongside shrubs in july with the seasonal code patch being added alongside my year round autumn trees mod and my falling autumn leaves mod :)
AFAIK it doesn't affect any gameplay aspects such as seasonal bugs, fish, etc not be catchable it just makes the aesthetic visual part of the game appear as a specific season
hopefully what i'm saying makes sense !! when i release the falling autumn leaves mod there will both of those options available to choose from when downloading, i prefer option 2 because the grass being green doesn't make sense but it's up to you (the downloader of the mod) and your personal preference which is why i'll be releasing both versions <33
