Superman is the easy to kill in 3 steps because of a plothole
No seriously it would take 3 steps but let me explain why. Superman has x ray vision, it quite realistically does not work on lead, this would make his powers useless for roughly 40 years as he was made in 1938. What fell out of use around 1978? Lead paint, it was in almost everything. This is the key to Superman allowing you to kill him Kryptonite bullets have been used to varying degrees of effect but I know how to make it foolproof
