1. What made you join Tumblr? (god rest your souls)
Seeing video dubs on Youtube of art/comics done from a Homestuck ask blog that’s now discontinued (@askdemhomestucks though the artist @shubbabang is still on here.) Got me interested in lurking to see more fanart on tumblr which eventually led to using my own blog.
2. Whats your favorite pun/dad joke?
Not sure on my favorite, but here’s one I learned from one of my professors from a class a couple of years ago: "I see" said the blind man, as he picked up the hammer and saw.
3. A country you’d like to live in besides your own.
Somewhere in Europe would probably be fun. Got family from Germany on one side and Ireland on the other, so I’ve always been curious about those two countries.
4. Favorite fictional character?
This usually changes over time, because I just can’t choose an ultimate favorite. Like, I think I’ll always like old and semi-old favorites like Pit, Steven Universe, and Wonder-Red, but seeing new shows/movies/games gives me new characters I’d like more at least for a little while, partly because they’re new. For this past month, there’s been Deadpool from Deadpool, Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde from Zootopia, and many of the Nohrian crew from Fire Emblem Fates Conquest, especially Felicia, Elise, Silas, Charlotte and Gunter, (and likely more from the other side when I play the other paths,)... the list goes on.
5. What was your favorite game or show as a kid?
Not exactly just as a kid, but I loved watching most Toonami anime on cartoon network growing up (Dragonball Z, Ronin Warriors, Yu Yu Hakusho, G Gundam, etc.) Other than that I also really loved game shows, like Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy but also Legends of the Hidden Temple and Double Dare on Nickelodeon, the latter mostly for their physical challenges and obstacle courses.
6. Favorite snack?
Healthy snack: Toss up between apples/applesauce, cheese sticks, or vanilla yogurt.
Less healthy snack: Chocolate candy bars, cookies, Drumstick ice cream cones.
7. Most played song in your library?
Don’t have an accurate number since I usually listen on my phone, but current top holder is Spider Dance from Undertale.
8. Game you’ve logged the most hours on?
According to my 3DS, Fire Emblem Awakening at just under 279 hours, though I’m sure I’ve logged in more hours over time playing World of Warcraft (which I did over most of my undergraduate free time at College.) May be some other console games too but not much is coming to mind (and I have a habit of leaving the console running so times won’t be accurate there.)
9. Favorite comedian/talk show host?
Jon Stewart. Loved his work on the Daily Show.
10. Top of your Steam wishlist?
Mighty No. 9, though that should’ve been out by now. If I’m not counting that then next up would be Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair. Just popped onto the Steam store recently, but with great timing as I’m currently playing through the first game, and it is very, very engaging.
11. Favorite movie so far this year?
So far this year? Definitely Deadpool. I went in thinking it would be fun, and I got that and a really good movie along with it. With all the stuff the movie does, I’d even say that it’s a movie of our time, in a good way.
