Was Skylanders hard to platinum?
Nahh, not really. Kinda time-consuming, but the only truly difficult achievement is to beat the game on Nightmare difficulty (and that also factors into time-consuming, since you have to beat the game once to unlock Nightmare).
What’s cool is that you actually don’t have to buy anything beyond the starter pack to Platinum the game! You do have to buy more stuff to truly 100% it, but you can get every achievement/trophy just with what you start with. (Though your Skylanders die so quickly in Nightmare mode that just two probably won’t cut it, but still, it’s theoretically possible.)

Yeah, our store has had great results selling them. We carry 3M and Mirka papers here. Now would you recommend using a basecoat/clearcoat for touch up? Cause most all of our touch up sales are an Enamel single stage based paint.
Whatever the customer provides me with is what I use, I can only make recommendations. It really depends on the specific application, but most of the time I don't use the two stage base coat with clear coat unless it is a factory combo provided by the manufacturer (BMW for example). The single stage paints usually have the protectant built into the mixture and they do well enough to make the customer happy.
Great blog so far Bro. Very detailed and informative. I mix paint for a living(PPG products) so that post about touch up was awesome. But speaking of fine sand paper, have you seen the new 5000 grit from 3M? Also, what brand of sand paper do you use?
Thank you very much! I lean towards 3M and Meguiars sandpapers for the high grit stuff. I actually just purchased some of their 5000 grit hook sanding pads for my Porter Cable 7424, but haven't had a chance to try them out yet. I've heard great things about them from Larry at AMMONYC.
