Released on April 23, 1987, “The Ultra-Violence” is the debut studio album by the Bay Area thrash band DEATH ANGEL. The music was recorded while all members were under the age of twenty. The drummer, Andy Galeon, was barely fourteen years old. The album’s title is rumored to be a reference to the Stanley Kubrick film “A Clockwork Orange.”
