       “ whoa whoa whoa, slow down there, easy pal. ” the machete passes through him smoothly, without his body giving even a ripple. perks of being a GHOST, though he might’ve preferred being chopped in half to this existence. actually - “ you caught me off guard, lemme give you a better reaction. ” now, as if in a delayed reaction, beetlejuice just sorta lets his form split open, crumpling to the ground with an overdramatized wail of “agony”. he goes silent for a minute as “blood” spurts out of him, all an act of course. ghosts don’t bleed. then, he grins up at jason from the ground, his “wounds” patching themselves up on their own. “i think we got off on the wrong foot.” he pulls off his right foot, which has somehow ended up on his left leg, and swaps them before standing up. “ let’s try again, shall we? ”
