a loud cackle leaves the specter whenever kai let's out a loud squeal, his arms wrapping around his chest. though, it doesn't take long for him to realize that it's probably for the best that he keep his feet on the ground. ( even though kai was more than capable of holding him up. ) his kisses don't seem to let up until he finally just rests his chin on the top of his head.

Fever's got his hands shoved into his pockets, gloves aside, he's not trying to make himself larger than he needs to, not now. Not with Kai in tow in a very obvious sign of... something.
He doesn't know what yet. But it was enough to bring him HERE, into the safest space they had in the middle of a world tour.
Fever keeps going. He wanders a few steps in like his personal guest isn't being barraged by his band mates at the front. All the way to the back, to the bed and the small walking space and his own... oasis.

She's been left on her own to clean up after an open mic night at the coffee shop. Usually, the little events were staffed a lot better than this, but no, not tonight. Rain wasn't even one of the acts, (she had been banned), she just got to clean up after it all. That included some of the equipment.
"Kai, go home." She'll say over her shoulder, as she's working on moving some speakers. Not quite amps, but they are so much more fucking heavy than typical speakers. It is embarrassing, actually. "Seriously. I got this." She does not.

she says it as she appears behind him, two beers in her hands. she'd noticed him in the crowd when she had been performing, and she had certainly sent a couple of smiles his way. kai had mentioned that he might show up, but it was something entirely different to actually see him here.

the one thing about mapplethorpe is that he loves to be very close to his partners. ( physical touch is his love language, after all! ) it gets a little complicated whenever your, you know, dead. he can't help but feel terrible that kai doesn't really get the same reactions from him as he does from kai. ( like right now, he's placing his hand on his chest to feel his heart beat. ) he feels it speed up against his finger tips, a soft gasp leaving him. his eyes flutter closed for a moment, focusing on the feeling of his heart start to race. ( if he concentrates hard enough, he can pretend that it's his own pulse. )
he'll slowly open his eyes, focusing on kai's features as he searches him. "your heart is beating faster---.....do i make you nervous?"
