Alright folks! Get ready for a trip down the rabbit hole and a looong post because I'm back at it with the theories. (Scissor Seven again! because I can't stop thinking about Season 3 and at this point I've thought about it so much that it replays in my head)

If you haven't watched Scissor Seven/ don't want to be reminded of how painful Season 3 was, beware SPOILERS. (Also beware one slightly spoilery The Magnus Archives reference because anime counrey or no that's just how my brain works these days)

If you have watched Scissor Seven/ are more emotionally stable than yours truly: theory under the cut.

Green Phoenix is plotting something. That much is obvious. But what is he plotting.

Let's recap first:

-He set up Seven as the person who killed Redtooth after HE killed Redtooth.

- Between his encounter with Shadowkiller Seven six years prior to the main plot and the final episode of season 2 he seems to have reevaluated his stance on Shadowkillers fighting each other.

But why?

Well, after the fight is over a dying Redtooth asks Green Phoenix how he will justify his actions to the Leader. And that's where it gets really interesting. Because while his voiced lines say "That's easy...my friend" the subtitles tell a different story:

And suddenly all his actions make much more sense.

Not only could he get rid of Redtooth, he also simultaneously caused the chain of events that led to the Organization realizing Seven wasn't dead at all,putting out that gigantonormous bounty and leaving him no other choice than to leave Chicken Island. But he only does this after declaring that he's going for the Leaders head *very* publicly.

Now given that Green Phoenix seems to be an Elias Bouchard level manipulator there's no way that this isn't the outcome he wanted.

But "Ponytail Loser" Seven doesn't stand a chance against what will be thrown at him. Not alone. So fastforward a few episodes and Green Phoenix has Thirteen stab Seven with the Dark Frost Blade basically turning him into a mindless monster.

If you think back to the backstory episode Two Heroes Green Phoenix says that he does not recognize Shadowkiller Sevens' fighting style and that and I quote:

the kid fights like a wild beast.

So I can only assume that he used the Dark Frost Blade to make the weapon he has pointed at the Leader more deadly and effective by removing the part of Seven that actually doesn't want to kill people as well as all rational thought from the equation.

What he didn't anticipate however is Seven struggling this hard against the poison. There's still a chance for our favorite ponytail moron to make it out of this with body and mind at least sorta intact.

If he doesn't end up dead first that is. (Gosh I'm really really worried 😅 At least now he's got someone to protect as well as someone who wants to protect him)

Okay so fan theory. The bodyguard is plumblossom 14. There are really only two options who 13 could have referred to as "brother" in that scene. And obviously it's not the bodyguard BUT
