I feel like he’s projecting, he didn’t look at her like that when he first met her, when he was still hoping to be with Mary. Now that she turned him down, he’s looking for comfort and trying to get rid of his feelings for Mary, it’s easier for him

I get that, I really do, and I even came to peace with those spoilers about Bash trying to move on by being with not just one but several women. As long as there is no emotions involved, it makes a small bit of sense and it isn't so ooc that he tries out that approach in order to do anything to move on. But I think they're meant to have him seriously fall for this girl, judging some other spoilers, and, I don't know, in my opinion, even if I put my love for Mash aside, it's far, far too rushed.

Also, I won't lie, it upsets me that this evens him out with Francis in an aspect in which I've always claimed Bash was the better, more honorable man whose emotions were more honest, more endurable and ran deeper, and this is shaken that much more what with that other spoiler about him also randomly getting romantically involved with one of Mary's ladies.

I feel like Reign is trying really hard to create as much drama and intrigue as possible, to the point where it twists the personalities of its own characters and shows some serious amounts of distaste.
