-A DS/Dark Sun/Solstice and KS rant here-
Why isnt the ship Dark Sun x Killer Sun a little more popularized? Okay, hear me out here. It started off as a crack ship, but I can really see them as partners (especially back when..yk..DS was alive, and when he was a villian/working with Nexus) I mean, we all know Dark Sun has to be like..bi in some way. Hes a ladies man, but in the way Sun is. Yk what I mean? Also--theres no way sun isnt bi/pan, come on--but anyways. And killer Sun..Hes definitely gay. I can just see them as partners in that way. Like, KS is a more..hyper villian in my eyes. Hes sadistic, psychotic, cunning, and gets the job done.
Meanwhile DS works more..low profile. He has a plan, hes meticulous, and precise. He knows what hes doing, and make sure no one bats an eye. I just feel like the interaction they had didnt..click for me. Now, of course, the stuf im saying is pure fanon BS, but I js wish, you know? I mean, I even had an idea of howd they work together (when DS wasnt a danger, version)
DS could run into a dimension that has a Sun nearing death, or is in danger, or etc, and Dark Sun could go in, talk to that Sun, help them out, meanwhile KS could dive in behind him and kill that Moon (if they were reason for said danger)
Now, redeemed DS is lwk boring in my opinion, so, idek abt that idea.
Theres js a lot more you can do with a villian pair. Its why I liked the idea of them. It fits.
I mean, DS's whole goal was to, idk, work with Nexus and get those wither shards? (I mean, i think) Maybe KS could be wrapped in there somehow. Like, not in a Ruin way, more like a "I'll help track them, but I get to have years of [blank] in return, or kill moon of [blank] dimension"--etc.
Or maybe, none, and they just commit silly evil together<3
