Kitchen Lockdown
Nate: Nate made his way into the kitchen, holding Katherine by the wrist and pulling her along like she was some damsel in distress. He didn't realize that she was really the one protecting him, mostly because she wiped his memories of her using her powers. Nathaniel dragged her into the kitchen, which was barely bright enough to see in, iPhone in hand for light. Finally, he stopped, looking around, "This seems like a wide open enough spot to wait things out. Maybe there's some kind of lights." However, footsteps interrupted them, Nate couldn't see anything yet, so he called out, "Hello? Who's there?"
Jenny: Jenny stood at the side of the event when lights begun to go down. People hurried in all directions and Jenny was overwhelmed with the situation, not knowing where to go. She pushed herself back that she didn't stand in the middle of those people. She walked along the next hall, just to get somewhere where she would see light. Great idea to go to such an event alone. She popped into the next door she could find and found herself in the kitchen. "Hello?" she said, it was dark and it didn't seem that someone was there yet. In the next moment she heard the door open and someone's voice when she walked around trying to find anything she could use. The voice she heard was familiar. "Me. Jenny." she just said a bit unsure until stepping a bit forward to the voice. "Nate? Is this you?"
Katherine: played her role effortless. Pursed lips, hurried steps, brown eyes reflecting an unnatural sheen. Everything pointing towards a women, a damsel in need of her hero. In that moment Nathan was playing his role perfectly. In the deep depth of her souls she pretending it wasn't. That she wasn't the monster compelling him to forget. That she was the weak human, following her prince to safety. Light footsteps, a rapid heartbeat run in her ears. Disapointment brimming it wouldn't just be them. Heavier footsteps sounded too. Her eyes rotated in their sockets before she pulled herself against Nathan. Tucking her body into his, head resting on his chest as she looked to the girl. "It Nate and I - Katherine. Who else is there? I think I hear other footsteps Nathan."
Stiles: Stiles was really enjoying himself at this event that was being held. Well until everyone started screaming and running around like headless chickens. He sighed to himself as he was now wandering aimlessly through the dark dim lit hallways. Honestly out of all the things that could have happened it had to be a blackout especially in a creepy place. Stiles suddenly stopped as he heard a strange noise in the distance causing him to look around quickly. Not wanting to stick around he went through the nearest doors which was the kitchen. Though when he entered he heard voices, he walked towards the voices and spotted the trio talking. "Nate, Jenny...and some girl I don't know. Well this is wonderful."
Nate: Nathaniel perked up when he heard Jenny's voice, she even confirmed it was her, "Jenny, over here!" He felt around for her, trying to get a hold of her to pull her close. They were better off closer together than spread out. Then after that, another voice called out, "Stiles! Good, I'm glad you're alright, there was pretty much a stampede outside. Come over here towards me and Katherine. Be careful and follow my voice. Who knows what's going on with all these tables." He didn't want anyone to get hurt right now. They should just gather until the lights came back on.
Jenny: And there he was again. Jenny's golden boy. Always her knight in shining amour, trying to protect everyone. She felt a twist in her stomach when she came closer and saw Katherine in his arms. God, she really needed to get over this. It was pathetic. The blonde almost jumped as she heard Stiles voice, not expecting anyone to be there as well. She was glad about another familiar face though she couldn't really see it yet. "Hey, Stiles." she said. But at least the voice helped Jenny to calm down a little bit. She stood on Nate's side and tried to peer around the dark room. "What are we going to do? Just wait it out?"
Katherine: eyes narrowed at Jenny's then steered to Stiles. "Katherine, joy." She commented before looking back away up to Nathan. "Shall we find a place to sit. We might as well get comftorable, it will be awhile." She looked back to Stiles. "You can find your way over to us without hurting yourself right?"
Stiles: Doing as Nate had instructed Stiles began to walk slowly towards the voice; knowing his luck he'll probably stub his toe. Though his mind didn't bother with that as he heard Jenny greet him, he smiled slight even if she couldn't see it well. "Hey Jenny, I would ask how's your evening but given the situation it doesn't seem bright. Or should I say it's kind of dim." Honestly he couldn't help but joke a bit at the moment because it seem so dreary, and someone needed to shed some light on this situation. Which was another good pun to say, but a certain Missy with the letter 'K' stopped him from doing so. "Of course I can, I'm honestly not that clumsy." After one more small step Stiles reached the trio and placed his hand on Katherine's shoulder.
Nate: Nate did his best not to laugh at what Stiles was saying. He was being the guy he always was, the jokester that kept everyone calm when a situation was bad. And right now, as they sat in a dark room, he wondered for a second, just based on her tone of voice, if Jenny was jealous of Katherine, that she still had feelings for him or something. It made him feel awful, because while there had been a flare for each other a long time ago, it was mostly gone now. They were friends, really good friends, maybe even best friends on the level that Blair and Serena were, but Nate didn't have feelings for Jenny like that. As Stiles came to them, Nate made a suggestion, "We're going to just wait it out. No way we can get hurt that way." He checked his phone, "No signal either, what's with this place?"
Jenny: The blonde pressed her lips together, trying to hold back a laugh in this situation but honestly it was funny. So she couldn't help but chuckle a bit. Stiles had the talent to lighten up the mood a bit and it distracted her from being stupid not to get over her feelings she had developed may years ago. "Well, yeah it's more of a dark evening." she had to smile. Stiles was funny, why not make the best out of the situation and laugh as long as you could. "I think we should sit like Katherine said." she said not to try to sound too annoyed with the situation. "It's way to dark though. We could try to find something to make light. It's a kitchen after all."
Katherine: lead the group to some tables, the kitchen was scattered with tools used to cook. "Phones honey, i do have a lighter. Maybe we can find a damn lighter in this place." Katherine pretended to be unaware of her surroundings, weak like a human. She turned to Nathan, holding her hand out. "Nathan come to me please."
Stiles: He chuckled at the blond of the group's joke before he looked at Nate. "Maybe we're in a dead zone or the spirits don't want us to call for help." The Stilinski male started to make creepy noises to make what he had just said even scarier. Though he probably shouldn't seeing as he was kind of scaring himself, but the only way to get over that is by saying creepy stuff. Not the best of ideas on handling it, it's just something Stiles did. He looked over towards Katherine before giving her his opinion. "I agree with Nate, the less we move the less chance we get hurt. And besides the last thing I want is one of us ending up like 'Two-face'."
Nate: Nate was all too set on sitting down, but Jenny made a good point, they were in a kitchen, maybe if they were really careful, they could find something to light the room up a bit, make the area a little less dangerous. He nodded, then realized no one could really see him, so he spoke up, "I think we should look, carefully." He emphasized the word careful, not wanting anyone to do anything that could end badly. Katherine asked for his help and he took her hand, "I'll help Katherine. Stiles, stick with Jenny. Look out for each other, okay?"
Jenny: Jenny was a bit glad about the darkness so no one could see her eyeroll. Katherine didn't really seem like a helpless little girl, but she tried to shook it off. She was scared, yes but she wouldn't use that to get closer to someone. "I'm good with carefully." she said and nodded when Nate said he would stick with Katherine, moving to Stiles. She was pretty glad that he was here. At least she wasn't stuck with some pervert but with someone who was something like a friend. "We could go through the closets and drawers of the right side of the room." she said to Stiles.
