He scrunched his nose for the umpth time as the sorting hat yell out another house name. It’s not like he didn’t like the sorting hat or anything, but he was glad that he was done with the sorting. Hogwarts is sure is a peculiar place, he thought to himself. Granted it was a medieval castle teeming with magicals hidden from the rest of the worlds plain sight it was still all very confusing for him.
He shook his head to clear his wayward thoughts away and settled his eyes back on the elaborate feast laid out in front of him. Though despite all the delicious looking delicacies, he didn’t have the appetite for any of it at all. So he just played with his food idly was he impatiently waited for the sorting to finish. He just want to go to bed and prepare for the next day. Socializing can come later, sleep is much more important.
He was so deep in thought that he hadn’t notice that someone had slid next to him on the table. His story grey eyes looked up and met the stranger’s face. His face flushed for the tiniest bit. Would it be rude of him to not engage the latter in a small conversation? Maybe, he wasn’t sure. Deciding that it wouldn’t hurt to try, he forced a small smile as he introduced himself .
“Hello. I’m Ringo Petrova. Nice to meet you.”
