Actually!!!

They do, it’s just... See, this little guy was picked up and he wasn’t doing so well by my sister who surprised me when I was in my dorm (she can be a brat but hey, she got me this dude and a bamboo plant and they’re both going strong) and it turns out he was a victim of getting dropped on a LOT that his stem was partly broken.

So, I took a lot of time to plan out how to save him and basically:

I tried the leaf trick but no dice, many many times. Dorms are not the best place to do so lemme tell you

So I wound up buying a small plant scissors and cut him in half to preserve him and replanted. Over some time he grew back to normal size and by the first semester I had transferred to my current school and moved back home!

By then, there were of course more drops and I had to cut him again after a particularly bad summer so, my boy’s a fighter and he gave me hope that I'm growing too like he is.

NOW THAT SAID SIS WHAT ARE YOU GIVING YOUR SUCCULENTS BECAUSE PAPA NEEDS A BIGGER GARDEN.
