Evil AI integration in MY workplace?! Happy to share some little updates in our current visual novel in progress, Killswitch. Development is taking a little longer than we expected because life got a little crazy...( ꩜ ᯅ ꩜;)  but rest assured that we are not giving up on it anytime soon! Killswitch is a game where you randomly reconnect with your best friend from your childhood. However, the more time you spend in his company rekindling your friendship you realize that perhaps your meeting with him after all this time wasn't such a random event after all...

Hey guys, I've been debating on officially making this post but I owe you guys an explanation for my disappearances and lack of game updates. Killswitch will be on hiatus until further notice. I won't bore you all with the gritty details but some things irl have become increasingly taxing to the point where it's taking a massive toll on my mental and physical health. I apologise for the lack of content and art but I also don't want to half-ass the project and rush it just for the sake of progress. Killswitch is my passion project and it means a lot to me and I greatly appreciate all the love and support I've received this past year! I'll still pop in now and again but it won't be consist. Do I have a surprise for you, anon! Here's a tiny preview of Day 3(?) since you asked so nicely :3

“No! That's not true! I cared for you, I always have! That was never an act I swear it!! But what you’re doing now is wrong. You can’t force me to love you!” Tears threaten to spill from your eyes as you choke back a sob. You meant every word but you pray that it would be enough to pacify his rage. Clove stills and stares at you in deafening silence as if he read your thoughts, or it appears to be. He stands far enough away from the light that his face is cast in darkness, making it hard to read his expression. A flash of fangs peek out as a grin pulls at his lips and widens, “Oh you’re absolutely right, Rabbit! I can’t force you to love me, but in time you will." In two easy strides he's upon you, gripping your chin in a punishing hold, your face inches from his, "I've lost you once before but I’m not letting you slip away a second time, MC.” Your stomach drops at the finality of his words. You’re stuck here with your captor and he doesn't intend on letting you go.

Your answer about Phisc has given me much to think about.

Like, did Clove do something to earn Phisc's ire? Or was it just a case of him rubbing her the wrong way? Or is she jealous that he's the boss's favourite?

And should I even ask what she and Clove do?

Finally, how dead would I be if I did the Mommy? Sorry. Mommy? Sorry. Mommy? Sorry. thing to Phisc?

Now that I have a clearer picture on how Killswitch will play out I think it's safe to share this since it's not an actual spoiler just extra lore lol

SO Clove is a nuisance to Phisc to put it simply. He's never slighted her but she views him as inferior, inexperienced, sloppy and she is often left to pick up the slack which leaves feelings of resentment, as if she's babysitting and less like she's mentoring (which she refuses to call it that LOL).

As for their gig, Phisc is a bodyguard of one of the most notorious crime lords in the underground "The Black Lotus" AKA Alethea. Clove doesn't hold an official title in the syndicate but Alethea is intrigued by him and his silly obsession. so in return for helping him find his lost "rabbit" he serves her, indefinitely :3

Phisc would be confused at first def since she lives under a rock and doesn't understand good quality memes (A SHAME REALLY) so you'd have to explain it to her and then the moment was ruined. But hey! you live to see another day and have another shot to rizz her up 😎👉👉
