But if we’re talking about people that become your family well...I don’t have any close relationships. Wait, not scratch that.” Calista tilted her head to the side in thought for a beat before continuing. “But I have Lucy, who might as well be my family. She is my absolute best friend and favorite human and like a sister I wish I had. I legitimately rely on Lucy for like...everything. When I need cheering up, when I want to bitch, literally just everything. I really don’t know what I would do without Lucy but she is my family.”

Cordelia’s lips pressed into a soft smile, shifting her position in Jill’s lap as the other gently combed her fingers through her hair. She hummed in response, eyes fluttering closed. Cordelia turned her head slightly to look up at Jill through half-lidded eyes. She made a soft noise before turning back and nuzzling into her legs.

“You always say that.” she murmured, curling her legs up to her chest. “Your mind is just as wonderful, don’t sell yourself so short.” Cordelia could feel Jill’s fingers stop threading through her hair for a moment before they continued. “Your entire being is wonderful for putting up with me and for putting me up. I appreciate it.”

My newest favourite is Lucy. I’m not even sure what it is about her, she’s just this cute little awkward messy ball of love and I want her to have all the things and all the great life experiences.

It should really be no secret that Breanah is my absolute favorite. She’s easily my first muse (way way back to that one time I was on gaia and rp’d on there. THAT’S RIGHT, I’M OLD) and she’s been through a TON of changes from there to LJ to here. And tbh I’m probably the most proud of her development and just how she’s grown from even just a few years ago. But real talk, Breanah is my baby and as much shit as I’ve put her through she’s taken such a strong role in getting through all of it, whether or not I was ready to have it happen.

☄ Has roleplay positively affected your life in some ways?

For sure! The most obvious thing is the friendships I’ve developed since day one and watching how it’s changed over the years (both for the good and bad, to my nostalgic heart) but it’s also I think influenced my cosplaying? I mean, I’m not dressing up as my own characters but it helps to put me into a headspace for when I do do a costume just to think about more than the characterization that’s been put out there.

❀ What is your favorite thing about your current fandom or RP community?

How creative it CAN be and that I’ve gotten lucky to write with some amazing people. It pushes me to write better and think a little more outside the box than I would otherwise (and I already don’t think too inside the box as it is)
