He'd always had this habit of losing himself in the game of baseball, where everything would fade away except for the bat in his hands and the pitcher standing across from him readying for the next pitch and the bases he'd have to run as soon as his bat made contact with the ball. It wasn't necessarily a bad thing, but it wasn't really a good thing either when he thought about it, it was probably one of the many reason's his classmates had taken to giving him his nickname.
"Ah," he said as he returned back to the present just in time to watch the baseball he'd just hit fly across the park, further away from where he'd stood. "That went a lot further than I planned," he muttered as he continued to watch the ball before looking ahead past the ball to where it was more than likely to land. As long as there wasn't anyone around then it would be fine, but it didn't seem luck was on his side today as he caught sight of a younger boy, clearly not paying attention to his surroundings. With a muttered curse he broke out into a run in the direction of the other male, "hey kid!" He shouted in an attempt to get the kid’s attention, "hey! Move out of the way!"
